Our LATIN, SALSA, BALLROOM & BLUES PARTY on Saturday, May 28th includes a FREE Bachata dance lesson from 7-8 PM plus dancing on both dance floors, light snacks and refreshments, deejays play Latin, Salsa, Ballroom and Blues plus requests. Warm up dance lessons upstairs/downstairs from 8-8:30 PM include a Blues lesson downstairs and a "mystery lesson" upstairs plus the Hustle Flash Mob Routine from 6-7 PM (FREE). Admission for our dance parties and 8 PM warm up lessons is $8 (full-time students pay $4).

Ballroom & Hustle Party is May 7th!

Thanks to all the wonderful ballroom dancers that came out to support our Viennese Ball, AN EVENING IN VIENNA! It was a wonderful evening of dancing with eveyone dressed-to-impress in their spring evening semi-formal or dressy attire with flowing long skirts and even a few men tuxes and tails! The music playlist included plenty of smooth ballroom music including lots of silky foxtrots by Andy Williams, Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble, as well as flowing waltzes, bubbly big band tunes for swing/jitterbug, some sensual rumbas, terrific tangos including the awesome Gotan Tango Project and a plethora of our favorite Strauss Viennese waltzes. We were also grateful to have our colleagues Sharon Emerson and Dan Gibbons entertain us with their fabulous dance exhibitions including a tantalizing Tango team and a stunning slow International style waltz performed by Dan and his pro/am parnter, Julia Pucca! Also, thanks to all the people who helped out and stopped by including Lucky Pahl, Brandon Detty, David Nguyen and our greeters Ron Tong and Maria Li Mandri. It was a magical evening. I definitely want to do this again soon.
